Meet Dr. Leah: Your Trusted Guide to Animal Care and Compassion

Dr. Leah Osowiecki is a mobile veterinarian based out of northwest Connecticut, with a special interest in hospice and integrative medicine.  She graduated from Litchfield High School in 2000, and studied Animal Science at The University of Vermont.  Dr. Leah received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 from Colorado State University, and returned to Connecticut as an associate mixed animal practitioner.

With additional certifications and training in medical acupuncture and chiropractic care, Dr. Leah started her private mobile practice, Holistic Home Veterinary Services, LLC in 2014.  She has shifted focus to home hospice as the need increased during the pandemic.

In addition to getting outside for hiking, paddleboarding, swimming, and snowboarding, Dr. Leah loves to catch live music and travel.  She spends her downtime with her two Golden Retrievers, Willow and Rain, as well as her three cats Arlo, The Ginge, and Nyx, and donkey, Bug.
